Well, for one,
Michael Tierra, a California herbalist, makes a great triphala. Tierra combines Ayurveda, Western, Native American and TCM. He also runs an herbal school.
A couple of other herbalists who fanned the flame of interest for me;
Jeanne Rose - the doyenne of California herbology. Her book, Herbs and Things, was my first herb book purchases in the wild 70's. Jeanne also has a school.
Susun Weed - without whom menopause could not be tolerated <grin>
and MORE.....

Many of the herbalists listed here have biographys, CVs, and books included on other sites. Part of the fun researching is to find more and more information about 'unknown' herbalists. Have fun searching the unlinked folks!
Note: It sometimes helps to add the word 'herbalist' with the name in the search engine. |
